Last month, Indivisible launched a national Signs of Solidarity campaign. Here in Denver, Indivisible Denver Action (IDA) has been partnering with the Immigrant Protection Team to create signs, trainings, and canvasses tailored for the Denver Metro area.
Every business weβve visited has responded with gratitude and appreciation. Through this work, we:
Give workers the knowledge of their constitutional rights, making it harder for ICE to detain them.
Show immigrant workers that we see them, value them, and oppose deportations.
Build real community with business owners, strengthening their resolve to stand up to Trump and authoritarian policies.
This work is tangible. Itβs meaningful. And itβs community-building at its core.
Signs of Solidarity is an initiative of Indivisible Denver Action (IDA). We began this spring as the Salvadoran Study Group, campaigning for the release of the 250+ men disappeared into CECOT, and quickly expanded into the broader Signs of Solidarity campaign.
IDA is a people-led team fighting fascism and the authoritarian takeover of our government. Together, weβre channeling Denverβs passionate resistance into concrete action to protect immigrant rights here in Colorado.
Weβre joining forces with other groups who are canvassing neighborhoods and suburbs across Denver to spread Know Your Rights information and make our cities safer for immigrant workers and families. The energy is growing β and we want you to be part of it.
Two ways to get involved right now:
Join us Saturday, October 4th β RSVP
Become part of the Signs of Solidarity Team β Join the team here
Together, we can protect immigrant workers, build stronger communities, and resist authoritarianism.
We hope to see you soon!
