Signs of Solidarity – Denver Business Know Your Rights Canvass and Training on E. Colfax

Join us to canvass local businesses and to share with them Know Your Rights information to help protect themselves and their employees in case of a raid by ICE. We share with them the importance of making a plan, training employees and creating safe spaces, and we suggest what employees should or should not do. Canvassing is a demonstration of our solidarity with all of our Denver community and has been received warmly by the businesses visited.

We will meet at 9:00 am for light refreshments and review the canvass material. Orientation and training will take about an hour, after which those who are able will go door-to-door to businesses in the vicinity of E. Colfax Ave. and Jersey St. We plan on canvassing in pairs for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
