About the Talk:
Through storytelling, teaching, and embodied inquiry, Valarie will explore how Revolutionary Love can transform our lives from the inside out. See No Stranger invites us to see no stranger, to recognize others as part of ourselves, and to participate in the labor of birthing a beloved community.
Valarie will be accompanied by world-renowned Afghan musician Qais Essar, master of the rabab, whose music has long inspired love, courage, and connection.
About Valarie Kaur:
Valarie Kaur is the founder of the Revolutionary Love Project and the best-selling author of See No Stranger and Sage Warrior. Her activism began after the murder of Balbir Singh Sodhi, the first Sikh victim of post-9/11 hate violence, and she has since led campaigns addressing hate crimes, solitary confinement, and digital freedom. She is recognized worldwide for her spiritual leadership and her viral Watch Night Service address, which reached over 40 million viewers.
About Qais Essar:
Qais Essar is an acclaimed Afghan-American composer and instrumentalist, blending traditional Afghan and Indian classical music with contemporary genres. His mastery of the rabab brings an ancient and modern musical fusion that deepens the evening’s message of connection and courage.
Join us in person or via livestream to engage, reflect, and be inspired to bring Revolutionary Love into action in your life and community.
