Her activism began after the murder of Balbir Singh Sodhi\, the first Sikh victim of post-9/11 hate violence\, and she has since led campaigns addressing hate crimes\, solitary confinement\, and digital freedom. She is recognized worldwide for her spiritual leadership and her viral Watch Night Service address\, which reached over 40 million viewers. \nAbout Qais Essar:Qais Essar is an acclaimed Afghan-American composer and instrumentalist\, blending traditional Afghan and Indian classical music with contemporary genres.
