SUMMARY:Stop AI Data Centers Organizing Training Series
DESCRIPTION:The Data Center Working Group\, Kairos Fellowship\, and Fight Oligarchy are hosting a five-part organizing and campaign training series focused on stopping the expansion of AI data centers and building community power. Participants will learn practical skills for developing winning campaigns\, conducting power analysis\, building statewide coalitions\, researching corporate influence\, and sustaining long-term organizing efforts. \nThis training series is designed for community organizers\, advocates\, environmental justice activists\, local residents\, and anyone concerned about the impact of AI data centers on communities\, energy use\, land\, water\, housing\, and local decision-making. Sessions build progressively but can also be attended individually. \nTopics include: \n\ncampaign strategy development\npower mapping and analysis\ncoalition building\ncorporate research and “follow the money” tactics\nsustaining community engagement and leadership\n\nSessions take place Tuesdays from May 19 through June 16.  RSVP here.
