SUMMARY:STOP The Deportation Machine
DESCRIPTION:STOP The Deportation Machine! (Solidarity Warriors) Rally in front of Immigration Court\n \nNO MORE CAGES! NO MORE ICE!\nJoin a powerful grassroots movement in Denver protesting ICE kidnappings at courthouses and abductions nationwide. This Denver protest stands against new ICE detention centers in Colorado and shows how community involvement can support immigrants\, friends\, and neighbors. \nWho We Are\nThis protest is organized by Solidarity Warriors\, an action-focused group dedicated to resisting autocracy\, theocracy\, and oligarchy. Our mission is simple: restore empathy as a central value of government. We believe in nonviolent resistance\, and this will be a peaceful protest. \nICE Abductions at Courthouses and Beyond\nAcross the country\, ICE has escalated its enforcement tactics. Agents now detain individuals—often with no criminal history—right outside immigration courts. \n\nNationwide Reports: Advocates in Los Angeles\, Miami\, New York\, Seattle\, Chicago\, and Phoenix report coordinated arrests immediately after hearings. Sometimes\, cases were even dismissed moments earlier. As a result\, people are left vulnerable without warning or due process. (The Guardian\, AP News).\nFear in Communities: In Los Angeles\, a video captured a man pleading “Help me\, please!” as agents carried him away from a courthouse entrance. (Los Angeles Times).\n\nThese aggressive tactics have created widespread fear and uncertainty among immigrant communities. \nDenver in the National Spotlight\nDenver has become an important battleground in the grassroots movement resisting ICE. The city has seen a surge in protests and community actions in recent months. \nSolidarity March to Aurora ICE Facility\nIn June\, about 150 demonstrators marched from a local park to the Aurora ICE detention center. This action was organized in solidarity with anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles. (Colorado Newsline). \nAdvocacy for Immigrant Rights in the Spotlight\nIn March\, Denver’s beloved immigrant rights advocate Jeanette Vizguerra was detained by ICE at her workplace. Her arrest sparked outrage statewide. Governors\, mayors\, and community groups condemned the detention as politically motivated and a violation of due process. (AP News\, Washington Post\, The Guardian\, Denver7). \nWhy Local Activism Matters\nThese stories underscore the urgent need for community involvement. They show why local actions—like the Denver protest—are critical in standing up for immigrant rights and pushing back against injustice. \nLearn More about Indivisible Denver Action\nTo read about previous events that Indivisible Denver Action supported\, visit our News & Updates page.

Afterwards\, you’re invited to join us for lunch and a debrief at Mango House.👉 RSVP Here \n\nWhy Signs of Solidarity?\nLast month\, Indivisible launched a national Signs of Solidarity campaign. Here in Denver\, Indivisible Denver Action (IDA) has been partnering with the Immigrant Protection Team to create signs\, trainings\, and canvasses tailored for the Denver Metro area. \nEvery business we’ve visited has responded with gratitude and appreciation. Through this work\, we: \n\n\nGive workers the knowledge of their constitutional rights\, making it harder for ICE to detain them. \n\n\nShow immigrant workers that we see them\, value them\, and oppose deportations. \n\n\nBuild real community with business owners\, strengthening their resolve to stand up to Trump and authoritarian policies. \n\n\nThis work is tangible. It’s meaningful. And it’s community-building at its core. \n\nAbout Us\nSigns of Solidarity is an initiative of Indivisible Denver Action (IDA). We began this spring as the Salvadoran Study Group\, campaigning for the release of the 250+ men disappeared into CECOT\, and quickly expanded into the broader Signs of Solidarity campaign. \nIDA is a people-led team fighting fascism and the authoritarian takeover of our government. Together\, we’re channeling Denver’s passionate resistance into concrete action to protect immigrant rights here in Colorado. \n\nBe Part of the Energy\nWe’re joining forces with other groups who are canvassing neighborhoods and suburbs across Denver to spread Know Your Rights information and make our cities safer for immigrant workers and families. The energy is growing — and we want you to be part of it. \nTwo ways to get involved right now: \n\n\nJoin us Saturday\, October 4th → RSVP \n\n\nBecome part of the Signs of Solidarity Team → Join the team here \n\n\nTogether\, we can protect immigrant workers\, build stronger communities\, and resist authoritarianism. \nWe hope to see you soon! \n📧 Questions? SUMMARY:No Kings\, No Silence: Denver Mobilization
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nJoin the Movement: NO KINGS 2 — Denver Protest for Democracy \nIn America\, we don’t have kings — and we won’t stand by while authoritarianism rises. On October 18\, 2025\, join Solidarity Warriors\, Our Revolution\, Indivisible Denver Action\, and other partner organizations for NO KINGS 2\, a bold\, peaceful protest in Denver to defend democracy\, justice\, and accountability. \n📍 Location: 200 E. Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM👉 RSVP here: https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/839761/?emci=fae92804-749d-f011-8e61-6045bded8ba4&emdi=2e9703ef-789d-f011-8e61-6045bded8ba4&ceid=1589155🌐 Learn more / national organizing: https://www.nokings.org/ \n\nWhy NO KINGS 2 Matters\nIn June\, we did what many claimed was impossible: peacefully mobilized millions of people to take to the streets and declare with one voice: America has No Kings. And it mattered. The world saw the power of the people. President Trump’s birthday parade was drowned out by protests in every state and across the globe. His attempt to turn June 14 into a coronation collapsed\, and the story became the strength of a movement rising against his authoritarian power grabs. \nNow\, President Trump has doubled down. His administration is sending masked agents into our streets\, terrorizing communities. They are targeting immigrant families\, profiling\, arresting\, and detaining people without warrants. They are threatening elections\, gutting healthcare\, environmental protections\, and education\, and rigging maps to silence voters. Meanwhile\, families struggle with rising costs as billionaire allies receive massive giveaways. \nThe president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America\, we don’t have kings\, and we will not back down against chaos\, corruption\, and cruelty. \n\nPeaceful\, Powerful\, and Growing\nOur movement is only getting bigger. “NO KINGS” is more than a slogan — it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets\, shouted by millions\, carried on posters and chants\, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares\, uniting people across the country to fight dictatorship together. \nBecause this country does not belong to kings\, dictators\, or tyrants. It belongs to We the People — the people who care\, who show up\, and who fight for dignity\, a life we can afford\, and real opportunity. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. \n\nEvent Details & How to Join\nBring your voice. Bring your friends. Bring your commitment to a future where power belongs to the people — not to kings. \n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, October 18\, 2025\, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM \n\n\nWhere: 200 E. Colfax Ave\, Denver\, CO \n\n\nRSVP / Sign up: https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/839761 \n\n\nNational Info & Resources: https://www.nokings.org/ \n\n\nCore principle: All NO KINGS events are peaceful and nonviolent. Participants should seek to de-escalate any potential confrontations and act lawfully. No weapons of any kind should be brought to the event. \nLearn about IDA participation in the last No Kings rally in our blog post.

SUMMARY:WEEKLY: What's the Plan? Call with Indivisible National
DESCRIPTION:Action by action\, day by day\, group by group\, Indivisibles are remaking our democracy. \nBrought together by a practical guide to resist the Trump agenda\, Indivisible is a movement of thousands of group leaders and more than a million members taking regular\, iterative\, and increasingly complex actions to resist the GOPs agenda\, elect local champions\, and fight for progressive policies. \nThey make calls. They show up. They speak with their neighbors. They organize. And through that work\, they’ve built hundreds of mini-movements in support of their local values. And now\, after practice\, training\, and repetition\, they’ve built lasting power on their home turf and a massive\, collective political muscle ready to be exercised each and every day in every corner of the country. \nJoin Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week\, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan. \nThis is a virtual event.  Link provided after registration.

SUMMARY:WEEKLY: Resist Palantir and Tech Fascism
DESCRIPTION:Palantir Technologies\, co-founded by billionaire Peter Thiel with CIA funding\, has become the surveillance backbone of mass deportations\, predictive policing\, and military targeting worldwide. The company’s Gotham platform is used by law enforcement and government analysts to connect vast\, disparate datasets\, build intelligence profiles and search for individuals based on characteristics as granular as a tattoo or an immigration status. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement alone has spent more than $200 million on Palantir contracts\, using the software to integrate travel histories\, visa records\, biometric data and social media data. \nThis isn’t just about immigration enforcement—Palantir’s technology has been accused of enabling AI-driven warfare in Gaza and powering predictive policing systems that disproportionately target marginalized communities. CEO Alex Karp and Chairman Peter Thiel openly espouse authoritarianism\, while their company profits from turning surveillance into social control. \nJoin us to learn about and resist tech fascism: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet at Cheeseman Park Pavilion for community sharing of zines\, books\, and hot tea followed by a teach-in and vigil or direct action.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRead more: The Conversation: When the government can see everything: How one company – Palantir – is mapping the nation’s data
